I'm actually getting higher 4k speeds with my SSD than I did with my previous card, not just sequential read. It also boosts the speed of my SSD, maybe because it only occupies x8 on the PCI-E lanes. This card is more efficient for basic tasks, physically and logically.

I mean I could try putting the 3060 Ti back in, but I don't want that either. More so, I'm not even sure whether a reformat will fix it - if it indeed is the 6600 and its drivers causing the problem. I would go for a full format but as I mentioned before, I don't want to reinstall editors regarding my musical instruments all over again. I even gamed on it relatively well enough. When I first installed this card, I didn't actually have any of these issues. It sometimes appears but other times disappears when I highlight the typing bars on Reddit. I still can't make the cursor appear all the time, this seems to be pretty much the most obvious on Reddit pages. I'm thinking the default info logging of AMD (boost clocks and whatnot) might be causing it? The suite is not too lightweight at all, but I do have a 5900X. I'm seconding the short possibility however, the mains line is in kind of bad condition and I'm using a UPS to help with that.Įither of the two install types below the "Full" installation of the AMD Adrenalin driver suite seems to fix the sound skipping.

It goes from the interface to the rear of my Asus X570 WS USB-C output.Īll USB power savings should be off, I had the PC set to maximum performance in Windows with every power saving setting turned off. I'm using a Motu M2 connected over Type-C for audio, type-c to type-c cable. I thought about it but went on straight with the issue since it's been bugging me. Should I go about tweaking the mouse stuff or just DDU the whole thing? I don't know whether it's because of the mouse, GPU, or even the Displayport protocol (as some Reddit posts suggest). It's weird, I can refresh the my taskbar to make it go away, but it comes back on right after a few moments. Made it go away by refreshing cursor settings inside Windows mouse settings tab, which made the problem disappear for couple hours but it just came back again. It didn't happen the first 1-2 days I had the 6600 installed.

One more thing is, this has just recently started happening. Tried both the beta and the latest, both seem to do it. I didn't use DDU, just uninstalled Nvidia drivers and went on with the AMD set. This has been happening ever since I plugged out my 3060 Ti to put in my RX 6600 (I don't game anymore).

While looking up on the issue over Reddit, I noticed it becomes completely unseen when I highlight some texts over the Reddit pages. So my cursor seems to disappear a good chunk of the time when I highlight search bars.
